That was a ride, my friend. Truly one of the best things I've read in this fandom. I love the ending...it's perfect I loved how you used the episodes for the structure...wish I'd thought to do that.
And this...I loved this....
"He is not." Peter couldn't pace, but his eyes could move around the workshop. There were herbs, there were seeds, there were... what the hell was that, a monkey's paw?
The little details...all so wonderful. I see there's a sequel. If I were truly Shaolin and could go without sleep, I'd start reading...but I'm gonna take a break. I've left my Peter in a bad place and I need to get him out of it. Thank you again for sharing. What a gift.

Endings are the worst, so hard! I'm so glad I got it right! And I'm glad that all the details were good, and not annoying. I always worry about whether I'm doing too much.

One more and you're done my season 1 rewrite... but Peter kinda already knows, he's just not willing to admit it to himself. Him calling Tan "Master Dao" was not a typo, but more of a Freudian slip.

Ahhhhhh. I love this too. Are you surprised? of course not. that murder for Peter...dear god. and his outsized sense of responsibility. I am just enjoying the hell out of this.

It was HARD to write that murder! Peter was so upset about it. It was horrifying for him, against everything he was, but displeasing a father figure was also completely impossible for him. Suddenly seeing it from outside of his own perspective was shocking for him.

aaaaaaahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh. Oh god, he's breaking my heart. He thinks he's a failure, and the one person who he wants the approval of the most...betrayed him. Poor poor poor Peter. I just want to hug him. (actually, I always want to hug him, but especially now.)
Favorite line...and the Ancient's slightly creepy smile was enough to get them through the door.

That would be so neat. I've always been an internet author... felt a bit like I missed out, but then again, easier barrier to entry. It's... probably a good thing that I wasn't trying to get my early Sailor Moon pieces into zines haha :D
