Amazing! This could have so easily been a scene from the series. The dialogue, the actions, the "point" of the scene...all dead-on with the series. Kudos! Precious time of father caring for the son; interesting premise; satisfying read, like a cup of smooth coffee....

Love this story! It makes me wonder what kind of power Peter would have if he had been raised by his father. At the same time, introducing the outside world gave him a perspective that his father was lacking. We could call Peter's life story, 'As The Fish Spins'. 😉

Thank you! (Just realized I can reply to these!) I definitely wonder where Peter would have been if his father had stayed in the picture. It might have been his thing about how, if Peter practices really, really hard and only focuses on kung fu, it will take 30 years to become a master.
