Oh, my gosh! Oh, my! I want to carry this story around w/ me like a picture in a locket. It is so emotionally satisfying on so many levels. To be totally transparent, I started reading this via the archive but switched to the version in Patterns 5. Something nice about holding the actual book in your hands. It has it all - an emotionally grabbing scene w/ Paul; on target and eye-opening scenes w/ Kermit; tear-driven, soul deep distress, turmoil, and healing in the scenes w/ KCC...and it left me wanting more. I want to see the scene where Kermit talks to Blaisdell, where Peter and Paul talk, where Annie plays mom, and where Caine re-enters his boy's life. This is a deeply satisfying read! Kudos, Lisa....now, I want more in your little AU.
