A very satisfying read. Throughout the entire run of the show, it always felt like there were things not said but "hidden in the dark." In your story, KCC and Peter did something they never did in the series - - they talked. Cleared the air. My response was, "ah, finally!" I had been searching for that. In addition it was a nice h/c piece. Some believable hurting, and the perfect amount of comforting. I'm not one to lean towards the mystic side of the show...but I loved the inclusion of great-grandfather. It seemed - right. I hope Peter and Pop take the time to go back to the cabin again some time. A total keeper of a story. Clap, clap!
