A combination of disasters cause Simms and Caine to search for Peter and Kermit.  And vice versa.  The problem is that the duos are not in the same time period.  Does a grieving blackjack dealer in Las Vegas hold the cards to send them all home?

A holiday trip to the mall doesn't go as planned.

Post brands of course :-) it's been a few weeks.  Jordan's not happy with what she sees (with Detective Morgan's help of course) as an incomprehensible lifestyle change. Distance with her and Peter grows as he doesn't know how to help her understand something that he's trying to come to terms with. Strangely, he gets help in that area from very unexpected quarters. It would appear, there's quite a bit. Peter hasn't realized. Peter Caine touch the lives of many of his friends and they are not going let him fade in the Chinatown. Peter is one Caine that will soon find he's no one can afford for him to walk alone. As  ghosts from the past rise, dreams haunt, skeletons crawl out of closets. Peter caught in the middle. Battling his own darkness. His friends are going to need the Shaolin cop and priest. He must find the balance because he is truly both at heart. Can he trust them enough? .

This sequel brings back Seletine and his quirky eloquence, which is unfortunate for Peter.  Remember, revenge is always best served cold.
